The Project of Incinerator Fly Ash Reduction and Recycling Promotion in 2020

Absrtact
The project was executed from February 4th, 2020 to November 30st, 2020. Achievements made in this project: 1.The domestic incinerator mostly uses calcium-based sorbents to remove flue gas. Only one incinerator uses sodium-based sorbents, and it has only been used for just one year. Comparing operation records of the two sorbents, the output of unit sodium-based reaction fly ash, total fly ash, and solidified derivatives have all reduced. However, due to the short operation time of the incinerator, the operation records have not been verified for a long time; while sodium-based fly ash is not conducive to recycle due to its high chloride ion concentration and low calcium content. If other incinerator want to retrofit and use sodium-based sorbents, they still need to consider conditions such as the tightening of flue gas emission standards, the commitment to zero discharge of wastewater from the EIA, and the higher landfill costs, etc. It is recommended to be carefully evaluated based on the actual conditions of each incinerator. 2.The case of sodium bicarbonate as a sorbent in domestic incinerators may continue to increase. Preliminary evaluation of foreign cases, consider the introduction of measures to set up, and proposes incinerator fly ash reduction and recycling proposal. 3.The management outline for the recycling of incinerator fly ash was reviewed and drafted in the form of administrative rules, and the content was revised in accordance with the opinions of the relevant units. 4.According to operation directions for recycling proposal of incinerator fly ash, extend and establish fly ash declaration function, and held the management education training of the incinerator fly ash.
